This is the little guy that defies gravity – always watching, watching from upside down. These are little agile birds that get their name from the habit of jamming nuts and seeds into tree bark and then whacking them with their sharp bill to “hatch” out the seed from the inside. They have a loud voice but also have a habit of constantly yammering with each other all day long. The other paintings that go with it are White-breasted Nuthatch, Woodland Chickadee, Bluebird Morning, Bluebird Treat, White-throated Sparrow, Tufted Titmouse, Baltimore Oriole, and Carolina Wren.
